WHO'S BEHIND THIS

Most of what I actually know about change, I learned in rooms where the stakes were real — NHS surgeries, wards, and IT rollouts, and the large-scale business change work that followed it. Teams under pressure to make a new system work without breaking the thing it was replacing. Twenty years of that teaches you something most change frameworks leave out: the technically correct plan and the plan that survives contact with real people are often two different documents.
These days that same instinct is aimed at a newer problem. AI is changing what organisations need from their people, and what people need from their organisations, faster than most change processes know how to hold. The tools are new. The underlying problem — getting structure and human judgement to work together instead of past each other — isn't.
I hold a BSc in Accounting & Finance from Arden University, PRINCE2 and APMG Change Management Practitioner certifications, and I'm an NLP Master Practitioner. Alongside The Human Edge, I teach IT Consulting, Change Management, and Information Systems as a Senior Lecturer at the University of East London — which means I spend as much time being asked why something works as I do making it work.
None of that matters as much as the twenty years underneath it: actually being in the room when a change either worked or didn't, and having to know the difference in real time — not on paper, afterward.
No form to wade through — just an email that reaches me directly.
